Easter Activities and Events for Kids
Easter is most fun for the little ones. You can start or keep a tradition of photos with the Easter Bunny at Newport Mall. Opportunities last through April 16. Check out a wide variety of events in our area! You’ll have even more reasons to dress them up in bright spring colors. Friends and family of all ages will love these activities that bring people together.
- Easter Funday with Smile Preschool & Nursery – Hop over to Smile Preschool & Nursery and the HDSID for Easter FUNDAY on Saturday, April 9th, 10AM to12PM. You’ll find games, candy and of course the big egg hunt. Don’t forget to get a photo with the Easter Bunny.
- Easter Egg Hunt at Hoboken Grace – The largest egg hunt in Hudson County, it’s sure to be a great time. Register beforehand to go as a family or with a larger group. The big event kicks off on Saturday, April 9th at Mama Johnson Field, Hoboken.
- Easter Egg Hunt at Lincoln Park – The party begins at 10AM on Saturday, April 16. The big egg hunt starts at 11:30. There will be food, drinks, a visit from the Easter Bunny and lots of friendly faces at this playground event.
- Berry Lane Park Easter Egg Hunt – On Saturday, April 16, kids can take part in a variety of fun and games. The hunt contains thousands of candy-filled eggs, which is exciting in and of itself. But there’s more! Gaming trucks, laser tag and tons of giveaways make this Easter event even more exciting.
- West Side Merry’s Bunny Trail – On Saturday, April 16th, West Side Merry’s will host their annual bunny trail procession. The fun begins at 11AM with a meet and greet with the guy with big ears. The Easter Villagers at the Lincoln Park Fountain will host a variety of crafts and activities for kids and adults.
At-Home Easter Crafts and Fun
You might have some little kids at home who are especially excited for spring. Combine imagination and some easy at-home crafts to make beautiful pieces of artwork. Many of these ideas don’t take long to make and can be done with supplies you already have around the house.
