It includes Newport and Exchange Place, which are redeveloped waterfront areas and the home of the Newport Centre Mall. Even though this is a fast-paced area, there is still a lot of history to be found in Hamilton Park, Van Borst Park, Paulus Hook (bordering Exchange Place and Liberty State Park) and Harsimus Cove. If someone loves live an exciting live, renting one of the great Jersey City apartments in this neighborhood is definitely the place to be.
Journal Square: This neighborhood is currently undergoing an amazing renaissance. There are several theaters, preserved movie palaces and Saint Peter’s College in nearby McGinley Square. India Square is home to one of the largest Indian neighborhoods in New Jersey with lots of great shops and restaurants to explore. Need to hop a train to Manhattan?
