Features can include stainless-steel appliances, hardwood floors, marble countertops and quality cabinetry, to name a few. Taking a Hard Look at New Jersey Condos
Once a New Jersey condo has been found, it is important to have a home inspection prior to making an offer. While many think home inspections are only for free-standing houses, they are just as important for New Jersey condos.
A home inspection will look at things like wiring, plumbing and more. If the condo is in a newer, recently updated and renovated complex, chances are few, if any, issues will be found. If a condo unit is older or has not been updated in awhile, then a home inspector may find issues; some could be small, while others could be significant. Upon completion of the home inspection, the inspector will submit a report to the potential buyer. It is then up to the buyer to decide to submit an offer, not submit an offer, or submit an offer with the stipulation that these issue be fixed prior to closing, or the seller discount the asking price of the unit.
